How XCircle works

XCircle launches coins on pump.fun whose creator fees are shared by a circle of one to 9 X accounts, in shares the launcher picks. Every trade on pump.fun pays a creator fee. XCircle makes sure that fee is split exactly as promised, collects it, and pays each account in dollars through X Money.

People you name don't need a wallet, an account with us, or to do anything at all to be paid.

How the split works

pump.fun has a fee-sharing program that lets a coin's creator set a list of up to ten shareholders, each with a share in basis points (1 bps = 0.01%). XCircle writes that list for you:

# SHARE HOLDER
0 15% XCircle protocol wallet
1 weight₁ × 85% of the rest escrow(@first)
…
9 weight₉ × 85% of the rest escrow(@ninth)

Each X account has its own escrow address, derived from its numeric X user ID. The same account gets the same escrow in every coin that names it, so its earnings are public on-chain. Because the ID is used and not the handle, a username change never sends money to someone else.

Once the list is written, the fee-sharing admin is revoked. From that moment, neither the launcher nor XCircle can change the split.

Verify a split yourself

  1. Open the coin on Solscan and find its fee-sharing config account (pump-fees program, seeds sharing-config + mint).
  2. Check admin_revoked is true.
  3. Compare the shareholders list with the coin page on XCircle: same addresses, same order, same bps.
  4. Read the last lines of the coin's pump.fun description. They name the same handles with the same percentages.

XCircle does the same check automatically. A coin whose description, our records and the chain don't all agree is flagged and never paid.

Claims

Fees sit in the coin's pump.fun vault until someone claims them. Claiming is permissionless: XCircle triggers it on a schedule, and pump.fun's program pays every shareholder directly. Vaults holding too little to be worth the network fee are left to grow. Nothing is lost by waiting.

Payouts

Balances are tracked per X account across every coin that names it. When an account's earnings cross a milestone ($5, $10, $20, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1,000, then every $1,000), its whole balance is converted to dollars and sent through X Money. Each payout is listed publicly with the claims it came from.

X Money is currently available to eligible US users. Recipients who can't receive X Money will be able to claim to a Solana wallet instead by signing in with X. Unclaimed balances are held for the recipient.

Named in a coin?

Anyone can name any X account in a circle. Being named doesn't mean you created or endorse the coin, and every coin's description says so. If you're named, you'll be paid your share without doing anything.

Opting out

If you don't want to be included, you can opt out by signing in with X. New coins can't name you after that. Coins that already named you can't be changed (the split is locked), so fees keep accruing to your escrow, but we stop paying them out and hold them under our published unclaimed-funds policy.

What can go wrong

  • pump.fun admin override. pump.fun keeps an admin path for community takeovers that can reset a coin's fee sharing. If that happens, XCircle marks the coin and stops routing its fees.
  • X Money availability. Payouts depend on X Money. If it pauses payouts, balances keep accruing safely on-chain and in our ledger until it resumes.
  • Coin value. Creator fees depend on trading volume. A coin nobody trades earns nothing. XCircle doesn't promote or price coins.
